Soft pairs of lips were pressed together in a short, but tender kiss. Both hesitated to pull back, but eventually did so. Vanille's hands were cupping Lightning's face, they were still only inches apart, looking each other in the eyes. Vanille smiled lovingly and noticed: “Your eyes remind me of the ocean.”
